Personnel’s Absorptive Capacity as a Guiding Concept for Effective Performance in Informative Technology
This article aims to examine the personnel’s absorptive capacity as a guiding concept for an effective performance management strategy in business that use Informative technology. For this purpose the article is based not only on the latest literature in performance management strategy, but also to interviews of executive members of manufacturing Greek companies. Findings indicate personnel’s absorptive capacity as a critical effect for the implementation of performance management practices while organizations need to emphasize in personnel’s capacity, in motivation and in the organizational structure in order to enable the knowledge transfer and communication
